We have an excellent opportunity for ambitious hard working individual to join our team as an assistant commercial administrator. The role involves providing support to both the senior quantity surveyor as well as the commercial manager mainly covering the following responsibilities.


·Maintain entries to Cost Management system

·Raise Project Orders for subcontractors and materials in the cost management system, ready for approval at relevant Delegated Authority level

·Track orders and GRN material orders

·Processing of time sheets and keeping records for use in weekly reports

·Assist in the production of weekly Profit and Loss reports

·Timeous submission and tracking of Applications for Payment through Client’s online system, and follow through to assisting with invoicing to Client

·Communicating with subcontractors and being the first point of call

·Recording and filing of subcontractor applications for payment and invoices, assisting Quantity Surveyor to maintain accurate subcontractor liability

·Liaising with Project Delivery teams, compiling supporting evidence and information regarding Compensation Event claims.

Essential Requirements

·Have excellent written and oral communication skills

·Commercial awareness, with Numeracy and Analytical skills.

·IT Literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

·Organised and attentive to detail

·Self-motivated and works well under pressure

·Reliable and eager to develop skills and knowledge
