Job Description

Working within our integrated engineering team at our production facility in Wakefield you will work with customers and across the business to prepare initial control systems concepts, develop that system following order placement, see it through factory testing and assist with the commissioning of the control system on site.

With a busy order schedule you must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, with a focus on the detail, as well as collaborate with the wider team to deliver results. You will need to build good working relationships with the engineers, production control and purchasing teams as well as your colleagues in both Wakefield and St Neots. You will occasionally be expected to travel to other sites for training or meetings as well as attend customer sites.

The successful applicant must have a degree or HND (or equivalent) in Controls/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering and be able to demonstrate previous successful experience designing electro-mechanical solutions.

The successful candidate will also have knowledge of relevant electrical standards e.g. EN60204, BS7671, EN13894, gained through working as an electrical control systems designer.
