Bureau de Wit is an independent organization that monitors and advises companies throughout the Netherlands on food safety, air safety and water safety. 

We are fully aware of all laws and regulations in the field of hygiene, legionella, air safety and food safety. Together with our customers, we ensure optimal hygiene within companies and we help our customers to draw up clear guidelines in the field of food safety and hygiene. 

In the hospitality industry we are the market leader when it comes to food safety, but our specialists also have years of experience with inspections at, among other things:

Job description

The challenge

As a Customer Service Manager you are ultimately responsible for managing, directing and further professionalizing the Customer Service department at our location in Almere. You will coach a team of customer service employees on customer focus and efficiency.

Our mission is to go from data partner to knowledge partner and you are therefore an excellence in motivating and guiding employees to assist customers in the best possible way to achieve this mission. With your approach, in which you put the customer first, you take ownership in creating our sustainable customer relationships.

You are also responsible for translating a strategic vision into your annual plan and you take responsibility for realizing those objectives. You are able to empathize with the interests of clients, management and your employees. You report directly to the director. 

Job requirements

The ideal candidate is able to take the Customer Service department to a higher level, which increases customer satisfaction and enables further growth to be achieved. He / she is proven successful and knows how to realize a culture of continuous improvement and to lead, challenge and coach the team in an inspiring way. Commercial, conceptual and strategic thinking, good and effective communication with all employees are also important aspects.

Customer service within Bureau de Wit is the pivot when it comes to customer contact, but also when it comes to contacts with our laboratories.

Job requirements

HBO + / WO in the direction of Food Management or comparable;
At least 7 years of managerial work experience, preferably in a customer service center environment;
Customer focus, you apply hospitality management both inside and outside the organization;
Strong analytical skills and able to understand processes;
Team player, you determine the course in consultation with the team;
· Proactive and positive
· Affinity with ICT;
Available full-time (36-40 hours);
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
Drive and ambition to grow further within the Eurofins organization;
Knowledge of food technology / laboratory is a strong advantage.
