Our client, a fast-growing artist-owned digitally native lifestyle brand, with a focus on original design work, progressive values, and dark humor  is looking for a Production Manager.

This person will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating with members of the production department to ensure graphic goods are embellished efficiently and accurately.

The Production Manager will work with DTG (direct to garment) and sublimation printer operators to create high-quality products with timely delivery to the shipping department and manage products throughout the product lifecycle to ensure production processes run reliably and efficiently.

This role is physically active and does require stamina to execute daily functions in a timely manner. The production floor is a fast-paced atmosphere and the Production Manager will primarily be on their feet through the duration of the shift. This is a hands-on role!

Job Description

  • Perform production-related duties including picking, an inspection of goods, relabeling, and pre-treatment of blank inventory
  • Operation of Brother GTX DTG machinery including, but not limited to DTG   printers, pad printers, heat presses, sublimation printers, and garment  \ dryer(s)management of workflow and team members.
  •  Perform routine maintenance and/or troubleshooting of all production      equipment as needed.
  •  Perform production-related duties according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and within established productivity metrics and other duties including train new team members as needed.
  •  It is a fast-paced atmosphere and the Production Manager will primarily be on their feet through the duration of the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily coordination & communication within the production department and in concert with the shipping department and management of workflow and WIP (Work In Progress) report.

  • Provide status updates to the Director of Operations and ownership as needed/requested.
  • Source and order wholesale blank inventory and consumables (ink, machine cleaning supplies, replacement components, etc., for production from approved vendors, ensuring a consistent supply of inventory and consumables)

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing, Fashion, or Apparel industry or related field experience preferred
  • Proficiency in basic math skills.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Time management experience managing multiple tasks is required
