Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners.
Just 3 years ago, Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast forward to today, we’re in 23 countries and over 120 cities across EMEA, servicing over 10M registered users. Our journey in Hungary started three years ago with a few people in a small office in Budapest. Fast-forward to today and we have a team of almost 150 people, we have over 2,700 restaurants in our portfolio, and we’ve launched in ten other cities with more to come!
We’re now looking for a Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate you are responsible for growing Wolt’s restaurant portfolio using inside sales channels (mostly phone) and identifying gaps in our existing portfolio with the help of our Restaurant Partnership Managers (RPM). You will be also supporting our sales team with various tasks.
What you’ll be doing
- Being the main point of contact (inbound and outbound) for restaurants that have shown interest towards Wolt
- Conducting negotiations regarding partnership terms and understanding which kind of restaurant portfolio we are building here at Wolt
- Assisting the Restaurant (especially sales) team with other ad-hoc tasks.
- Demonstrable experience from a sales or customer service focused role
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt tone to suit the audience
- Excellent communication skills – you will be working with a lot of different people
- You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience from within the restaurant industry is a plus
- Self-starter with a passion for food
- Fluent in the local language and English
