Is science part of your make-up? Do the terms “Sample Aliquoting” and “Centrifuging of blood samples” ring a bell? These skills will be an essential part of your role and your passion for good housekeeping and safety will follow closely behind.
In this role, you will be assisting with various tasks in the laboratory as well as the administration of record management, data inputting, and use of email.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone that has laboratory experience, whose focus and attention to detail is solid. Administration experience also desirable.
Here’s your key responsibilities:
- Sample Aliquoting
- Blood fractionation
- Use of C freezers and dry ice
- Checks and organising repairs
- Liaising with laboratory manager and other laboratory staff
- Overall maintenance of the area
- Use of automated equipment
- Travel between sites (Walking)
- Team and alone working
