Finance Analyst – (DTC Channels)

Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for this omnichannel fashion retail business. The business has over 100 stores and a strong presence online and also via their member’s club.

The business is looking for a Finance Analyst (DTC Channels) who will be reporting to the Head of Finance and will be reporting on all aspects of analytical reporting from the retail stores and DTC sites.

The roles & responsibilities of this Finance Analyst – (DTC Channels) position –

• Production and analysis of budgets and forecasts
• Development and preparation of management reports and variance analysis
• Interpretation of all retail financial/management information and making recommendations to senior management
• Producing reports for that include the monthly management pack, stores P&L, and daily sales reports
• Regular performance reviews with the business, reviewing variances, profitability, and latest view
• Preparing the annual budget, forecast, and latest view
• Analysis of sales, margin, and costs to budget, forecast & last year
• Production of ad-hoc analysis when required

The requirements of this Finance Analyst – (DTC Channels)position –

• Ideally, you are someone who is working towards or Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by experience (ACCA, CIMA, or AAT).
• Monthly reporting for retail shops and e-commerce
• Preparing the annual budget, forecast, and latest view for retail shops and e-commerce
• Analyzing data to determine trends in sales, costs, and profitability to assist the leadership team in decision making
• Forecasting capital expenditure
• Has 3 years experience + of FP &A or Finance analyst or Management Accountancy experience
• Experience in reporting, forecasting, and analyzing trends to support the business in decision making
• Advanced excel and financial modeling with the ability to deal with large volumes of data (preferably in Power BI)
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Previous work experience within a commercial environment
• Good communication skills – at all levels and from all areas of the business
