Job Description

We would like kind, compassionate hearts who truly want to make a difference in our client’s lives and help support the community.

This is a Part-time role, which requires availability
Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 7am-2pm. Please note, you will
only work 5 days out of 7 per week.

The Care & Support of an individual varies greatly, after all everyone is unique!  All our clients vary from being very independent to some that need much more assistance.  You could –

  • Arrive with a smile for an early morning call.
  • Prepare breakfast and assist someone with their morning routine whilst chatting away!
  • A trip to the supermarket, pharmacy or social group.
  • Assisting with medication.
  • Preparing lunch together, taking care of their nutrition is important.
  • Maybe prompting them to use the toilet, to keep their routine.
  • Companionship, hot drink, and a natter – you may be the only person they see all day.

We also specialise in Parkinson’s and Dementia care, full training for specialist care is given.

Qualifications

We encourage people from different sectors to apply, whether that is: retail, hospitality, childcare or customer service. We also encourage any age group to apply, you may be looking at getting back to work after raising a family or maybe retired? We provide continuous training from the start.

You will not need any experience of working in the care setting or interacting with older people, but it would be desirable if you do. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.

You will need to be reliable, trustworthy and respectful.

You will need to enjoy building professional friendships and are comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

You will need to be over 18 years of age, have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
