Job Description

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will maintain data and systems used to deliver content to clients and/or internal stakeholders. They will be executing the operation of business processes including data gathering, collation and formatting with a key focus on quality.

The individual will understand the implications of system changes, tools and processes that are used in the team, and the impact of making changes. A core part of the role will require them to transition manual processes to fully automated data pipelines by working closely with the Data Automation/Ingestion team or supporting the documentation of task for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow set procedures to complete regular data processes and analysis, ensuring completeness, accuracy and integrity of data
  • Collect and compile industry data on a regular basis from various sources to maintain and supplement the Data Platform
  • Form a good understanding of data domain, business activities and client requirements from the organisation’s products and services
  • Ensure integrity of our own sourced data through defined processes and identify new areas for improvement
  • Develop good working relationships with Research and Data colleagues to provide data support or process changes
  • Data owner, improve quality of data, demonstrate initiative and good understanding of databases structure
  • Document workflows and processes

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in working with data and demonstrate an affinity with numbers
  • Full proficiency with MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint
  • An understanding of Data visualisation techniques and BI tooling would be an advantage
  • A keen interest and passion for learning data skills like Python or SQL
