Job Description

If you like helping people in a fast-paced job, this entry-level position may be the perfect career step for you!  The City of Pueblo is seeking candidates for Emergency Services Dispatcher, a high energy frontline position that is critical to making a positive difference in a family-oriented southern Colorado community.

The Emergency Services Dispatcher is responsible for being the first point of public contact from 911 lines, providing accurate communications and dispatching City police, fire and EMS using multi-line phones and radios.  Dispatchers must be able to handle stressful calls and emergency situations that can involve injury or death.
