Staff365 are recruiting for experienced glazing operatives to work within our busy door manufacturing client in Tankersley Barnsley.
This is to work on 2 shifts rotating – days and afters Monday – Friday.
Days 6am-2pm
Afters 2pm-10pm
Pay rates are dependent on level of experience between £8.91 – 10.80phr and can increase with length of service.
This is a temp to perm position with a contract for the right candidate after an initial 3 month period.
Duties to include:
lifting doors
Using silicon guns
Inspecting glass
Placing glass into doors
Working to production targets
Measuring and cutting double sided sticky tape to correct lengths and sizes
Following written instructions and processing paperwork
The candidate:
Must have previous experience in working with glass within a production environment.
Be able to demonstrate an aptitude for working to production targets whilst maintaining quality
Have a solid understanding of the glazing process
Be willing to learn new processes and production procedures
Have a keen eye for detail and be very quality focused.
